About

Ask a CEO of an enterprise that has just built a new railway, on the day of opening “Do you think that you contributed to the successful integration of the new infrastructure?” The CEO answering “Yes” demonstrates that the CEO and their team influences the successful integration of the system, the success does not belong solely to the engineers.

Anutha’s passion and motivation is founded in years of experience, in participation and observation, of the good and the bad of railways. Despairing of the heartache caused when it goes wrong. Loving the feeling of team success when it goes well, at the end of a shift, commissioning of a stage, completion of a project, or reward for a business. Wanting that motivation of ongoing success and pride for everyone involved with railways, an industry steeped in a history of benefiting communities and economies.

If you consider the factors of success in any kind of enterprise or project, they are three part, fulfillment of need (goal), cost and timeliness. Failing to meet the need of the business or stakeholders is arguably the most important, effort on anything else is a waste of time and money. Add into the need a critical date, a date after which the need has gone or diminishes and it gets even more important to be sure you know what is needed as early as possible, no time to change.

Anutha’s goal is to help organisations and leaders use Systems Engineering processes beyond the realms of traditional engineering and technology related tasks. We want to enable leaders to define and refine the design of their enterprise, like traditional engineers do with technology, to more efficiently and effectively meet their current enterprise goals. Anutha wants to help leaders to assess if the organisation design is stale, focused on old goals or old methods and to help with the planning and implementation of any necessary changes for optimisation.

An organisation needs to function correctly to achieve its goals, just like technology needs to function correctly to meet the operating requirements. Anutha believes that elevating the use of systems thinking and systems engineering approach to the business level of an organisation will better enable the enterprise functions to integrate and work together more effectively for collective success. An Enterprise Engineering assessment could help you identify what you need to stop doing, keep doing, or start doing to better achieve your goals.

Anutha’s other passionate is motivating the amazing people we have in the rail industry, encouraging them to be the best they can be. When good people are enabled to share and try their ideas they will thrive and achieve great things. Believe that the ability to continually improve the design your organisation comes from within.

In a time when the industry is resource constrained and recruitment is not a viable or not a sustainable solution due to competition, Anutha believes it is more important than ever to research the hidden inherent knowledge and talent that you have already have. To use that discovered talent and review the design of your operating model to assure the functionality and success of your enterprise, to put your team in the strongest position to grow, grow capability and grow in success.
